If you have prior solar experience, electrical or roofing parts knowledge, general warehousing or forklift experience, then it will help you progress at a faster rate through the training, however, prior experience is not required. All that’s needed is a desire to learn and the drive to go for it. It does help if you are conditioned to working on your feet. The hours will also be 7AM to 3:30 PM and may change slightly based on seasonal needs. You must also be responsible, punctual, and have a good driving record to be accepted for the role. This position is full-time Monday through Friday and paid hourly. Overtime and occasional Saturday work may be requested. Schedule may change based on needs and prior notification will be given with as much notice as possible. Acceptance by our company car insurance is a must. Drug tests (medical marijuana cards are accepted), background checks, and MVD reports will be performed on all final candidates. Employment eligibility verified through E-Verify. All candidates must be comfortable climbing ladders plus standing and working for long periods of time in both hot and cold weather conditions- warehouse has swamp coolers for summer months. Must be able to lift 50 to 70lbs regularly and push, pull, bend, stand, or kneel for extended periods of time. Must also be comfortable operating a standard forklift and driving a truck with 16’ trailer (training and certification is provided).
