Press release from the Town of Wakefield: September 20, 2021 - 9:45am The federal American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) provided $8,083,935.00 to Wakefield through the new Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds.  There are four categories of eligible uses and funds are specifically prohibited from being used for offsetting tax cuts or public pension funds.  Town Administrator Maio presented a PowerPoint on the ARPA facts and criteria.
