Description

Stories or Recovery are so important! Help raise awareness and change perceptions around mental health all while making lives better in your community. If you have a story to tell about your experience with mental illness and recovery, the Ending the Silence program is looking for you! Young Presenters, ages 18 - 35yr are needed to give a 10-minute story about how mental illness during your school-age years affected you. NAMI Ending the Silence (ETS) is a no-cost, 50-minute presentation designed to give middle and high school students an opportunity to learn about mental illness and how to help themselves, friends, or family members who may be in need of support. The goal of our program is to create a generation of students who are well positions to end the silence and stigma surrounding mental illness. If interested, please contact us at or www.namisa.org.
