More about the 50 Hour Challenge
The TCFF’s 50-hour Challenge is an exciting weekend that invites teams of filmmakers to write, shoot, edit, and publish their own short films in just 50 hours. At the beginning of the event, each team receives a series of elements that must be incorporated into their film – a genre, prop, line of dialogue, character name, and shooting location. The films are juried by a guest panel of judges and various prizes will be awarded after the screening.
The mission of the Sylvania Community Arts Commission (SCAC) is to promote the awareness, interest and understanding of performing arts, art education and visual arts in the greater Sylvania community for residents of all ages. The SCAC is a non-profit organization directed by a volunteer Board of Trustees and an executive director. SCAC programs are funded in part by the City of Sylvania, Sylvania Township, the Ohio Arts Council and private donations.
