Join us every third Monday of the month for a free Breastfeeding Support Group brought to you by Mommy Did You Know LLC What is the "Mommy and Me" Support Group?All breastfeeding mothers and mothers-to-be interested in breastfeeding are welcome to come to our meetings. Babies are always welcome, and I promise you will leave with a greater understanding of how to feed your baby with confidence. Every session we will discuss common lactation issues and how to overcome them. The group will be led by Rachel Da Silva, an experienced maternity nurse, lactation consultant, and mother of two. This group is live, in-person, and very hands on. Most parents prefer physical support to assist with positioning, latching, and other breastfeeding tipsWhat is your COVID policy? Your Lactation Nurse is fully vaccinated, and all equipment and rooms are sanitized before use. Masks are recommended for unvaccinated families. We will sit in a circle with distance between each family for social distancing. Can I bring my baby? As this is a breastfeeding support group, of course you are welcome to bring your baby. However, because of the intimacy of this group, no fathers will be allowed at this time.Who do I contact for additional support? Our classes are taught by a Registered Nurse and Certified Lactation Counselor with years of hospital experience.
