Join Nellie's Lavender Estate on-site at Riverside Arts Center in Depot Town, Ypsilanti as we co-host one of our most popular fall workshop! Join Nellie's Lavender Estate on-site at Riverside Arts Center in Depot Town, Ypsilanti as we co-host one of our most popular fall workshops - pumpkin succulents centerpiece. In this workshop, you will learn about the most wildly popular and loved succulent - echeveria, it's care and beauty, and how to craft your own unique centerpiece using gorgeous white or traditional pumpkins. This 1 hour workshop is being presented to the community as a fund-raiser, with the specific goals of generating funds for facilities upgrades, community awareness initiatives and our new entrepreneurial partnership between Riverside Arts Center and Nellie's Lavender Estate. Workshop includes wine tasting (3 selected wines) by our wine partner, Cherry Creek Cellars and charcuterie faire. Hand-crafted tea blends by Nellie's Lavender Estate will also be available. Workshops are 1 hour in duration and will also provide for tastings, shopping opportunities and facility tour. Please select the desired workshop start time using the EventBrite link in tickets. The workshops will be staged in a covered vestibule between the main art center as an open-air concept. Covid guidelines will be respected. Please consider bringing a light jacket for inclement weather and grounds/facility tour. Participants may want to consider bringing gardening gloves of their choice.
