PERRY HALL, MD — Three people in the Perry Hall area were big winners this week, according to the Maryland Lottery. A 39-year-old Nottingham resident won more than $20,000 playing the 2020 Cash game. The man, who works at a restaurant, discovered he won the top prize while his fiancée was in the other room bathing their daughter, officials said. "I told her, 'This might be big,'" he said to lottery officials. "I really felt that I would hit a big one some day, and here it is!" His winning ticket, which cost $20 to play, is worth $20,200. The Nottingham couple plans to put their winnings toward a down payment on a house and will be looking for their new home soon, according to authorities.
