Local Pet Salon is hiring a full time, experienced groomer. We are a small, family owned salon, looking to add to our team. We’ve been in business since 2013 with no groomer turnover in over 4 years. We offer competitive pay and PTO. We are looking for an experienced full time groomer to work 8am-4pm Tuesday through Saturday. We are an inclusive shop, which means that although we have a front end shop assistant, groomers are required to pitch in and help with such things as vacuuming, laundry, taking phone calls and doing walk in nail trims. Reliability and customer service are of utmost importance in our environment. Please include job references with your resume as checking references is a big part of our hiring process. Candidates must have: Proven professional grooming experience. Sound understanding of animal behavior. The ability to stand for long periods of time. The ability to treat all animals with compassion. The ability to lift heavy pets and equipment. Excellent communication skills. Exceptional customer service skills.
