Burns & Sons is growing and looking for an upbeat, athletic person to join our service team of friendly professionals performing in-plant cleaning of rugs and carpet. Earn $20+ per hour to start (based on experience), with bonus / commissions available once you have demonstrated proficiency in our service offerings and processes. D. A. Burns (www.daburns.com) is an 86-year-old, industry-leading service firm serving loyal clients throughout the Greater Seattle area. We handle high value interior furnishings (carpet, specialty rugs, upholstery, stone and tile) with care for discriminating clients. We’re an experienced, friendly service team of ~45 with business locations in Seattle and Bellevue. Our plant, equipment and service resources are unmatched, and we keep our promises, with no surprises. No experience is necessary – just a willingness to work hard. We’ll train you on how to assure the safe, thorough and timely cleaning of items directed to our in-plant rug/carpet cleaning department by carefully identifying each rug and addressing any cleaning limitations – in advance of cleaning – to avoid unsatisfactory results. These cleaning limitations include shrinkage, dimensional instability, migration of fugitive dye, texture change and weak structural conditions.
