The hypocrisy of left-wing officials in regard to adhering to COVID-19 restrictions — particularly ones they've enacted — is well documented: California Gov. Gavin Newsom got torched last year for going mask less and not social distancing at a large dinner party inside a restaurant. White House special envoy on climate John Kerry drew criticism earlier this year when he was caught with his mask off during an American Airlines flight. Washington, D.C., Mayor Muriel Bowser was caught mask less at an indoor wedding reception in late July, which violated her own mandate requiring all vaccinated people in the district to wear masks indoors. Bowser's office claimed the mayor actually was in full compliance with her mandate — and a pair of CNN hosts even came up with excuses for the mayor. But video from the reception clearly shows Bowser wasn't eating or drinking while she went mask less. And House Speaker Nancy Pelosi in July was seen not wearing a mask on two occasions at the U.S. Capitol building after Capitol Police declared face masks must be worn "at all times" on the House side of the complex. And last September she violated San Francisco's health orders after being caught on video in a California salon without wearing a face covering. Now San Francisco Democratic Mayor London Breed appears to be in line for queen of COVID Rules for Thee but Not for Me.
