Surge Vaccination Sites Open In Metro Denver, CO Springs

DENVER, CO — Large vaccine sites opened Monday in Aurora, Commerce City, Jefferson County and Colorado Springs as some employer-mandated coronavirus vaccine deadlines approach. The sites were expanded to accommodate a possible surge, the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment said. Each site will offer up to 1,000 vaccines per day. Any eligible person can get their first, second or third dose at the surge clinics. The sites are open seven days a week, public health officials said.
