Press release from the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office: September 20, 2021 Jefferson County, CO. – At 4:10 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 18, 2021, deputies responded to a death in the 30000 block of Stagecoach Blvd. An adult female victim had been shot multiple times. Deputies also discovered a deceased adult male in the home. The male died from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. The victim has been identified as Shelley Mohr, 37. The deceased male suspect has been identified as Christopher Thomas, 48. The deaths appear to be domestic violence related and the investigation is ongoing.
