My name is Leah. I am a sweet 1.5 year old pit mix. I am great with other dogs AND cats, they are all so much fun to play with. I love people, but I don’t know my size, so small people are probably best avoided. With training, I would be a wonderful family dog. All I want is love, attention, food and to play with my rope toy. I am potty trained. I wait for my food when it’s poored into my food bowl until I’m told okay. And I am crate trained too. Leah is such a sweet girl, I hate to rehome her. But we live in an apartment and she needs a home with a fenced in backyard that she can run and play in daily. Plus, my apartment complex unfortunately doesn’t allow her breed. She needs a home that can provide her with the attention that she needs and deserves. She does get seasonal allergies, so weekly baths are needed. She does great in the bath tub. And she will go to her future family with a couple bottles of her medicated shampoo. She does not like to have her nails trimmed though, so she would need to be worked on with that. She does need some additional training. She gets really excited with new people and jumps all over them. We don’t have many new people over so it’s difficult for us to practice not doing it. She has LOTS of energy. She is up to date on vaccines and flea/tick prevention as well as on the Proheart 12 preventitive injection for heart worms that last 1 year. She is spayed as well. HOME CHECK IS REQUIRED. I have to know she is going to a safe and loving environment because that is what she deserves. And there is a small rehoming fee. I would prefer vet check as well (vaccine records from other pets). I would like her to go to someone who knows about and has experience caring for a dog.
