CHATHAM, NJ — The leaves have barely started transforming into their brilliant fall foliage hues, but the holiday season is on the minds of the members of the MyChathamNJ Advisory Committee.
Investors Bank, with a location in Chatham, has helped to kickstart that holiday spirit for the group with a $3,000 grant from the Investors Foundation Grant Program to fund the "Holiday Wreaths Across Chatham" program.
Two members of the local branch - Manager Mark Cody and Universal Banker Albert Gregorio - are active on the committee.
With the grant monies, the group can hang 118 evergreen wreaths on lamp posts in the downtown's business district to bring holiday cheer to Chatham, according to a press release from Chatham Borough.
"We are very grateful to Investors Foundation for its generous support of the holiday wreaths," said Janice Piccolo, the borough's community service director.
"Even during the recent pandemic, the partnership with Investors Foundation remained financially steadfast for Chatham's holiday project, lifting community spirits," Piccolo added.
It is the sixth year that the foundation has given grant monies to the Holiday Wreaths Across Chatham program. Click here for more information about the Investors Foundation.
