Activities planner and partner for extremely active, 71 year old lady with dementia and memory problems. This job requires you to be female, physically fit enough for strenuous hiking and bikram yoga, and you must own a reliable vehicle as the client will not be driving. The ideal candidate will help the client remain active in her areas of interest (hiking, painting, drawing, crochet and yoga) and be discrete (the client does not understand that she has dementia). The candidate will by physically fit enough for a strenuous hike or hot yoga, and emotionally prepared to handle difficult dementia behaviors. Payment and hours will be handled by the client's daughter. Familiarity with dementia behaviors and caregiving experience a major plus.
