Hi. First off, my wife and I along with our 3 daughters are looking for a home to rent in the upstate sc area. She has a squeaky clean record but I do not because of a mistake I made when I was 19. I since rehabilitated from that mistake and have extensive proof of such. I also have held consistent employment since then and have had steady, sufficient income. This has been quite the hurdle for us and we just need someone to give us a chance. I have tons of references as far as my character goes. My wife had good rental history. She’s been with the house we live at now for 7 years. I know a lot of people suggest we try keeping me off the lease but that isn’t something any landlords allow these days and I’d rather be safe than sorry.
