Busy UAB grad student / guitarist looking for low key psychedelic jams

New to Birmingham by way of Boston and looking for some young professionals / students to jam with! I've been playing around 15 years and writing my own music for two. I have no grand aspirations other than to learn and have fun. Not really looking for a commitment as I will probably be pretty overextended with school stuff pretty soon. Just wanna meet some local musicians for random weeknight/weekend jam sessions when we're available and go from there. My influences are pretty broad, but here's a few: Phish, Pink Floyd, Grateful Dead, Julian Lage, King Gizzard, Brian Eno, Steven Wilson, Nick Drake... etc. I play pretty dynamically and am happy sitting back or taking lead, though I don't think I'm the strongest lead player.
