Press release from Stark States College: September 14, 2021 (North Canton, OH – Sept. 14, 2021) – Free vision screenings are being offered by Stark State College's ophthalmic technology students on the first Friday of every month, open to individuals of all ages. The next clinic is set for Oct. 1. No appointment is necessary for the walk-in clinic where the services include screening for near and distance vision color vision depth perception central vision fusion (amblyopia or lazy eye) glaucoma. The clinics are held from 9 a.m. – noon and 1-3 p.m. in room J100 in the Health Sciences Building at 6200 Frank Ave. NW with entrance off Mega Street and parking in the Massage Clinic lot. Clinics will continue through May. No clinics will be held during the summer months. For more information, email [email protected] or call 330-494-6170 ext. 4927. Note: The clinics are strictly a screening service and students cannot diagnose nor treat any ocular disorders.
