DEARBORN, MI — Dearborn Police on Monday said they arrested a suspect wanted for murder on Friday.
Antonio Sims was charged with first-degree murder and two felony firearm violations by the Wayne County Prosecutor's Office, police said.
Sims is being held on a $1 million bond and his next court date is a probable cause conference scheduled for Oct. 1, police said.
"Our officers worked tirelessly on this investigation," Dearborn Police Chief Ronald Haddad said. "With their efforts combined with the cooperation of our regional partners and community this dangerous individual is off the streets."

Police believe Sims shot and killed an 18-year-old woman at a Dearborn hotel in August.
