Press release from the Atlanta Police Department: 08/13/2021 212251624 Preliminary information:  On Friday August 13, 2021, at around 7:30 p.m., officers were dispatched to a person shot call at 505 Pharr Rd NE.  Upon arrival, officers located a male outside of the location with a gunshot wound.  He was transported to the hospital in critical condition for further medical treatment.  Officers have one person detained and Investigators with the Aggravated Assault Unit have been notified and will be working to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.  The investigation continues.    Please keep in mind the above information is preliminary in nature and can change as the investigation progresses and new information comes to light.   This press release was produced by the Atlanta Police Department.
