Seeking full time motivated shop hand/Sorter for busy recycling center. Successful candidates will be responsible for greeting and assisting customers, picking and sorting metal scraps and must have the ability to lift a minimum of 40lbs. Forklift experience and experience using basic hand tools is also required for this positions. Working conditions are indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions and physical demands include standing, walking, pushing, pulling, stooping and bending frequently. Job duties include (but are not limited to): Tending to incoming customers Hand sorting metal (such as aluminum, copper, brass) Ensuring all sorted metal goes to appropriate bin General clean up and yard maintenance Maintaining a clean and orderly work area Performing duties in a safe manner Wages starting at $17/HR, Monday -Friday 830am-5pm Requirements: The ability to lift a minimum of 40lbs Work Outdoors in various weather conditions Background will be viewed Drug free environment
