Contemporary Voice Teacher, Vocal Coach for Hire! Hello! My name is Kiliyan Maguire and I'm a vocal coach/touring musician with over 10 years of vocal experience and an AA in vocal performance from Musicians Institute. I teach all levels of voice from beginners who are trying to find their voice to skilled vocalist who are trying to tighten up on their craft. I've spent the past 10 years performing, recording and writing music in Los Angeles. While attending the Musicians Institute in Hollywood I learned from some of the best vocal coaches in the world how to maintain the human voice along with how to master dynamic, tone and range. In our lessons we will discus your musical goals and put together a game plan on how to best attain them. It doesn't matter if you wish to pursue Pop, Country, Rock, Musical Theater or any other genre of music, every vocal style starts with a strong base and knowledge of the human voice. I firmly believe that anybody has the ability to sing as long as they learn and develop proper vocal technique. In my lesson we will cover the following: Vocal Projection--How to achieve a healthy tone of voice without causing damage or strain. Vocal Dynamic--How to control the volume and intensity of the voice, which gives us a variety of different ways to sing the same note. Vocal Science--In our lessons I'll use diagrams to show you exactly whats happening inside our throats while singing and talking; with a visual understanding of the human voice we can better learn to protect and expand it. Vocal performance--We will take your original song or a cover song and apply the concepts from our lesson to them in order to gain a practical understanding of the vocal knowledge. Song writing (if requested)--I can guide you in your existing songs or if your just interested in beginning to write your own material I can help you develop a better understanding of where to start.
