High Volume Aftermarket Automotive Shop is currently interviewing (and hiring) for an Automotive Technician preferably with electrical, diagnostic, fabrication, and drive-ability skills as well as the ability to perform well in a self starting and high-volume environment. ****MUST BE RELIABLE**** *** Problem Solving Skills Are A MUST **** As an Automotive Technician you will be called upon to service a broad range of vehicle repair issues and for quickly identifying the cause of performance problems. Job Requires a minimum of 2 + years’ experience working in an automotive repair shop or dealership. Automotive Technician Job Responsibilities • Base Knowledge on Power Adder Applications (Nitrous, Turbo, Superchargers) • Diagnose and repair automotive systems-drive-train, brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, air conditioning and computer systems • Transmission Removal and Installation • Assist other technicians in different tasks such as workload, or loading and unloading vehicles from dyno's, trailers, vehicle lifts. • Continuously learn new information and techniques, including cross training of Tuning, and Dyno software • Keep shop staff aware of mechanical repair problems and inventory supply needs • Maintain an organized and clean work environment • Assist with customer call volume and walk in traffic Automotive Technician Job Requirements • Minimum of 2 + years of experience working in the industry as an automotive technician • Hold a valid driver’s license • Appropriate hand tools necessary for services performed Safe working knowledge of shop tools and equipment such as Scanners, electrical diagnostic equipment, Lift operation, etc. To Apply Please: * Provide a resume for our review * Possess some certifications from ASE, or other automotive institution, including manufactures Certifications * Be capable of utilizing diagnostic resources on-line, over-the-phone and in-shop * Be able to communicate with selling staff, technicians and customers in a professional manner * Have reliable transportation with a valid driver license * Have the proper tools, hand and air, to get the job done correctly and efficiently Pay for Automotive Technician will be negotiable based on skill & Experience Job Type: Full-time Required experience: • Automotive Technician: 2 + years Required license or certification: • Driver's License Required education: • High school or equivalent • Have you completed the following level of education: High school or equivalent? • Do you have at least 2 years of Automotive Technician experience? • Do you have the following license or certification: Driver's License?
