A well-stablished, reputable architectural / decorative metal company is looking for an apprentice. Must have 1 year work experience in metal work. Must be healthy, and willing to work early. Some out of town work and overnight work as required. Some overtime work. The work is for high-end customers who require well behaved and honest workers. Shop Apprentice / Laborer Skills: -Use basic shop tools such as drill press, angle grinder, chop saw, and hand tools -Safety oriented -Able to lift 80 lbs -Communicate effectively with others in either English or Spanish -Take accurate measurements using a tape measure -Keep work areas clean -Work quickly -Good attitude -Driver's License (required) and reliable transportation -Authorized to work in the US These skills are not required but are a plus: -Bilingual (English/Spanish) -Read technical drawings -Steel MIG, TIG, and spot welding -Aluminum MIG welding -Operating plasma cutter
