Guitarist and bassist duo, both Gen-Xers, working to build an alt-rock cover band from the ground up, in search of a drummer. Musical influences are pretty eclectic, but intentions for the band veer toward the Melvins, Butthole Surfers, Meat Puppets, Misfits, Dead Kennedys, Pixies. Need a drummer who can host practice sessions. We're in Gainesville, but willing to commute in order to work with someone in a neighboring county. We're both career professionals with families and day jobs. Weekly rehearsals and gigs once or twice a month are fine. Not looking to tour or hit the big time. Not looking to tour or hit the big time. Not interested in drugs, drama, conspiracy theories, divas, or racism. Mostly, we want to enjoy playing music, but be professional about it.
