Monday - Friday 8:00-4:30 PM - Possibility of weekends or evenings for emergency situations or on-call coverage
The Maintenance Technician is often the single most responsible party for resident retention. Not only does the Maintenance Technician play a key role in the resident comfort it often includes more interaction with the residents than any other on-site personnel. It is therefore essesntial that the Maintenance Technician portray a professional and courteous demeanor while on the job.
Must have knowledge and ability to perform the following duties:
Plumbing repairs, repair/replace locks, smoke alarms, replace screens, appliance repair, electrical repair, roofing inspection/minor roof repair, change AC filters, HVAC repairs, general carpentry work, replace broken windows and general maintenance skills.
The successful candidate will have:
**Must have basic hand tools**
General maintenance experience required.
Must have a valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
Must be able to participate in taking calls on a regular basis.
Must be a team player.
