SUMMARY OF POSITION Performs repetitive processing duties to price repackaged items accurately and fulfill customer orders according to quality standards and deadlines. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Perform pricing duties per the order deadlines and schedule set forth by the Lead and/or Manager. Completes necessary quality assurance and order paperwork to track inventory and process orders. Weighs and prices cheese according to order instructions and established procedures. Locates, moves, stocks and/or loads product as needed to fulfill orders. Verify 100% accuracy of all PLU’s, prices, weights, and product in general. Work for 100% quality control. Follow all HACCP policies and sanitation procedures at all times. ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in English in both written and verbal medium. Maintain a current food handler’s card and demonstrates understanding of food safety policies. Constantly standing position within a chilled environment of about 30-50degrees. Involves occasional walking, stooping, bending to move equipment or product. Ability to constantly use fingers, wrists, hands and arms in repetitive movements throughout all tasks. Includes the frequent gripping and/or grasping and pulling and/or pushing of product. Frequently lifting product and occasionally twisting to move that product to assemble on pallets. Frequently works with 8 ounces to 10-pound pieces, but some stations require the frequent movement of full cases or large awkward pieces ranging from 5 pounds to 75 pounds. Frequent operation of machinery associated with the department, such as a calculator, scales, metal detector, label gun, packaging tape, etc. Ability to operate an electric pallet jack, manual pallet jack and/or hand truck. Occasional operation of office equipment: phone/voicemail, computers, copier, etc. Mental capability to work in a structured and repetitive environment at a constant, steady pace. SCHEDULE: Monday through Thursday Shift Times: 5:30 AM – Finish (end time varies) Job Type: Full-time
