Job description Seeking Mid-Level Estimator with minimum (3-5) years of experience to join Company. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to, the following: Great Organizational Skills are a must. The ability to organize bids and correspondance is an integral part of this position. Ability to perform takeoffs for landscape, irrigation, and site development scope. Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and other associated documents. Basic plant and hardscape knowledge. Manage bid log and project change order logs. Submit accurate bids in a timely efficient manner while meeting deadlines of requesting parties. Coordinate with vendors for material pricing and subcontractor quotes. Review data to determine material and labor requirements and prepare itemized lists. Ability to work in a collaborative environment Participate in design and construction meetings Demonstrate creative thinking NON-ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Participate and Contribute to the Growth of the Company. Demonstrate strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with external clients and associates on a consistent basis Other duties assigned. EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: High School Diploma KNOWLEDGE, SKILL REQUIREMENTS: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Take Off Programs. Proven experience with construction estimating. Mid-Level Candidates shall have 3 or more years of qualified practice in a construction firm. Applicants shall possess knowledge with project estimating, contracts, and submittals. Candidate may be required to work directly with clients, architects, and project management staff for the coordination of projects.
