Potential applicants, please read this entire ad before responding as it contains important information. Thank you! We need a Part Time cleaner to do turnovers (cleaning and staging) for our four beautiful Airbnb's in downtown Staunton. We are looking for someone mostly for the Weekends but occasional weekdays as well to fill in for our main cleaner. Turnovers are always done between 11 AM and 3 PM. (guests check out at 11 AM and the new guest checks in at 3 PM so timing is critical). We have a very specific cleaning procedure that we follow for our properties and we are willing to train the right person, so previous cleaning experience is not necessarily critical. What IS critical is that the person is self-motivated, honest, pretty much OCD with a great eye for detail, responsible and mature with an excellent proven work ethic, punctual, and 100% trustworthy and reliable!!  Applicants with current cleaning experience will be expected to use our checklist and train with our current Manager/Head Cleaner, so you must be flexible and willing to learn our process even if you have your own process currently for other types of cleanings. (Airbnb cleaning is not the same as regular personal home cleaning as our guests expect perfection and review us accordingly.) We have more than 600 Five Star reviews now and that largely has to do with the extraordinary cleanliness of our units, and we run our business with the utmost of integrity. It is absolutely critical that we maintain that standard. Because of the nature of our business with guests checking in daily, potential candidates cannot be prone to tardiness or calling out of work, and they must know that they are very efficient and excellent at fine details. Responsibilities will include full cleanings of each unit, washing and changing out bed and bath linens, restocking incidentals, staging each unit (resituating furniture, curtains, pillows etc. for best presentation), and reporting any issues or needs that arise. We provide all cleaning and staging supplies. Our Airbnb each have one bedroom, a full bath, and a full kitchen, and they are right downtown in Staunton, diagonal across from the Stonewall Jackson. Please be aware that the number of cleanings will vary from day to day and week to week as it is dependent on the bookings. Some weekends there may be 6 or 7 Turnovers and some there may only be 1 or 2 or anywhere in between. Pay is $40 per Turnover. Initially it may take as long as 2 hours to clean one unit while training and getting up to speed. Eventually, each unit should be able to be completed in an hour and 15 minutes to an hour and a half at most. There is some flexibility with scheduling as we do have a primary Manager/Head Cleaner who can cover some Turnovers on the weekend, but we are looking for someone who will be able to take over most of the weekend cleanings once up to speed so that she can focus on the management side of the business. Applicants MUST be available most Saturdays and Sundays and occasional weekdays, have reliable transportation, and live no more than 15 to 20 minutes from downtown Staunton.
