Looking for household assistant in Oconomowoc to help manage routine household tasks. Work may include: -washing/folding laundry -running errands like dropping off UPS boxes or picking up prescriptions -feeding 3 small dogs -picking up groceries (either pre-ordered or popping into store to grab items) -walking dogs (on our property or at park) -chopping veggies and simple meal prep -helping keep the house neat (wiping countertops, light vacuuming) -getting cars in for service, gassed up and washed -supervising when vendors need to come into the house (such as letting repair people in and communicating what is wrong) -watering plants -cleaning canary cage -opportunity for outdoor weeding or other light gardening in summer if ok with that -other misc stuff as needed to be discussed Each week is slightly different. We are a two-adult household so no childcare. We have a cleaning and lawn service as well. We have three active, adorable westies and a canary. You would work up to 20 hours/week, a regular schedule mornings or afternoons. Prefer at least a 4 hour shift each time. We are flexible but prefer a consistent schedule. Happy to work around student schedules. We are friendly and looking for someone who can work with us for at least several months. You may drive our car for errands with a good driving record, or your own vehicle and be reimbursed for mileage. Opportunity for additional income occasionally dog sitting when we travel – not required. Ideal candidate is very organized, friendly, very trustworthy, possesses good common sense and be reliable. Must have the ability to take take direction about our preferences as this is our home. Must be able to learn or develop systems as we work together. Experience as a babysitter, camp leader, coach, or teacher a plus. Must have personal and professional references. We are a smoke-free home.
