It is the duty of the Maintenance Technician to perform all tasks and work as required to maintain the condominium property with an emphasis on carpentry work. Day to day responsibilities vary according to necessity and in accord with the Board of Directors, the Property Manager, and the ever changing requirements of the community in order to maintain a reasonable standard of living within that community. The Maintenance Technician will provide basic maintenance of buildings, roadway, grounds and facilities of large condominium complex. These responsibilities include but are not limited to: Repairing and maintaining building siding, piping, fencing, and lighting fixtures. Seeing that walkways, steps, roadways, parking areas, and signs are functioning and maintained. Removal of yard debris, maintaining trees, clearing of drainage, refuse and litter, and upkeep of dog stations. Assist with daily cleaning of the grounds, equipment, and all facilities Light carpentry work. Maintain supplies and inventories Perform additional tasks as assigned Requirements for this job: Must have a valid Driver License Must be 18 years of age or older. Must be willing to take and able to pass a criminal background check and drug test. Employee must have ability to work independently with little supervision. Willing to take direction and prioritize assignments given from Management. Must be wiling to work in a number of different environments, including outdoors through out different seasons of the year. Should not be afraid of heights and handle a 40ft extension ladder. Experience with hand tools and light power tools necessary.
