Trying again to form original psychedelic band

The title pretty much says it all, but here is the short version of the rest of it. It's not Grateful Dead, jam band type of psychedelia. I mean heavy psyche/acid rock. Think late 60's/early 70s Detroit scene for example. And I love the BOSStown sound stuff like Ultimate Spinach (we covered Mind Flowers in one of my old bands) as well as vintage UK psyche and US 60's garage psych of course. And a bit of proto metal to shake things up. Pretty much 1967-1974 would be where it's at but there are a few modern psych bands that I like such as the Myrrors, Claypool Lennon Delirium and a few more. But I am adaptable, we can do that type of experimental stuff if we want to. We can cover some of that stuff be we need to be writing too. We can do a couple of covers to see how it goes and if it works we can start writing. I will be playing lead guitar but I can also play rhythm and write music. Thanks for reading. .
