Time to get back to the music. I am a seasoned guitarist with pro level equipment and tone...originally from Chicago, raised in Los Angeles and living here in the Land of Enchantment. I am looking for musicians to collaborate with in writing and performing a mix of original and cover music. My style is very fluid and I enjoy playing anything from top 40 modern music to old Country and Western standards. Though my wheelhouse is very much in the style of Rhythm and Blues based Soul, Funk, Jam Bands, Americana, Reggae and Rock Steady, and Rockabilly. I have years and years of gigging experience and am looking for a like minded group of semi-serious fellow travelers. Players who can improvise, play a cover set on fairly short notice, who are reliable and can moderate their own consumption. In my opinion my playing is above board, but my vocals are not great. I would not want to sit through an hour + of hearing myself sing. Maybe some backup, and perhaps a number or two. I am 40 years old and throughout my career have been both the youngest and oldest musician in different projects. Your age is of little importance to me. If we can groove together, I don't care if you're 20 or 70. If you are into 60's and 70's R&B, Classic Rock, Jam Bands, Reggae, Neo Soul, and live "festival" style music in general, I would love to get in touch and see what happens.
