Description

Primary responsibility is to install and service vinyl, wood and/or fiberglass windows and patio doors. You may be assigned “other” duties by the owners, operations and/or general manager and you are expected to perform those duties within company standards. Those “other” duties might include but are not limited to the following: • Unloading to trucks • Making/Installing window/door screens (SLA-Screen Lube Adjust) • Delivery • Miscellaneous jobs around the shop • Vehicle cleaning/inspections Window/Door Installer Skill Requirements: Ability to read tape measure Ability to read/interpret instructions, plans and/or sales orders to put the right window in the right hole Ability to identify faulty window components and perform general window and door adjustments Willingness to learn skills (such as carpentry or other specialized skills) as needed Working knowledge of hand and power tools (e.g., hammer/hammer tacker, power saw, nail gun/stapler, drill/impact/screw driver, etc.) Report to work Monday through Friday 7am till work assigned is complete (typically 4pm) and work OT as needed/assigned Complete jobs on time and on budget with minimal supervision Physical stamina requirements: Ability to work in ALL weather conditions Ability to sit, stoop, climb or crouch Ability to stand, walk, use hands and fingers and reach with hands and arms Ability to lift at least 100 lbs. (150 preferred) Ability to climb ladder and/or use scaffolding and/or bucket as required per job Vision requirements: Ability to see up close, distance, color and have good peripheral and depth vision Solid verbal communication skills Good organization skills Ability to think outside of the box to solve problems Ability to show up to the job with your own tools and use in safe/competent manner OSHA 10 certification required Must have a valid NV DL and able to be insured by Black Rock insurance carrier Able to pass drug and background screening Education: High school diploma/GED or higher-level education (preferred) Prior experience on a construction crew Prior construction/installation skills - specifically window/door install (preferred)
