Description
Hiring a driver to work weekend mornings and afternoons. Shifts are Saturday 6:30am - 4:30pm and Sunday 6:30am - 3pm. Pay is $20/hour.
A typical day looks like this:
Pick up catering van at 6:30am in NW DC.
Drive to farmers market 1
Set up farm stand 1 (tent, coolers, cooking equipment, etc.)
Drive to farmers market 2
Set up farm stand 2
Drive to commercial kitchen and load coolers for next day.
Drive to farm stand 1. Break down stand and load van.
Drive to farm stand 2. Break down stand and load van.
Drive to commercial kitchen and drop off leftover food product.
Return van to NW DC by 4:30pm.
Applicants must have a valid drivers license, a clean driving record and be able to lift coolers weighing up to 75 lbs. Food industry experience is a plus but not required. A 2-week paid training period is planned. Driver will be eligible for additional shifts and $ bonuses for excellent performance.
