Our growing company is seeking to hire a Prepper to join our team. The Prepper will be responsible for preparing automotive parts for our Painters to proceed with the painting process. You will be in charge of making sure products are properly sanded and repaired before they proceed to painting. To be successful as a Prepper, you should be detail-oriented, be able to learn quickly, and can communicate issues effectively. An outstanding Prepper will be goal driven, maintain a positive attitude, and be able to work in a team environment. At least 1 year experience repairing minor body damage like dents, scratches, spray primer, utilize body fillers, etc... Prepper Responsibilities: Follow process given without deviation unless discussed with management Work efficiently in a fast pace environment Know the different types of automotive parts Store and organize prepped automotive parts Locate and situate parts in racks for painters to find easily Utilize fillers and sandpaper to repair any imperfections or damages to parts Work with DA or Air powered tools to sand parts Know different sanding techniques per part to achieve proper method for paint to adhere Use of safety gear at all times in department Accountable to upkeep all equipment assigned Order materials that is needed Keep a clean and organized work station Record and note issues daily on parts worked on Troubleshoot issues that arises Fix Dents and scratches utilizing body fillers Spray High Build primer out of a HVLP Gun Average a minimum of 12 parts daily Prepper Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent Basic computer skills (Word, Email, Google docs, etc…) Physically able to stand and bend hours at a time Lift up to 60 pounds At least 1 year body repair experience Communicates well with others High attention to detail Follow Process to the T Positive and eager to learn attitude Job hours: Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm CDT Pay: Competitive pay starting at $10/hour +, depending on experience If this describes you to the T please email us your resume and in the subject title write "Perfect Parts"
