Description

The School custodian is responsible for the cleanliness of the entire school building: classrooms, library, administrative areas, and restrooms. Duties include vacuuming and/or mopping floors, cleaning restrooms and collecting trash. Hours: 23 hours per week Monday through Friday, can be performed by one person or a team of two who split the hours between them. Example, a team of two may complete the work in 11 ½ hr. Compensation: $14/hr. Responsibilities: Vacuuming, mopping, sweeping floors. Clean & supply restrooms Clean windows & mirrors Empty trash Report maintenance issues & assist Facilities Manager when needed Turn off lights and lock doors after completion of work Follow all sanitation and safety policies and guidelines Qualifications: Knowledge & experience cleaning as described under “Responsibilities” High School Diploma or GED equivalency Valid driver’s license Ability to pass background check Ability to complete routine tasks in a timely manner Ability to lift up to 50 lb. Capable of working unsupervised Must be able to pass various background checks.
