Description
I am looking for people to help expand the Lifeline Assistance Program all throughout Portland and surrounding areas. You will be set up at a location to sign people up for free cell phone service through the Lifeline Assistance Program in Oregon. Days and hours are flexible We are only looking for consistency. You need to have a cell phone with service to do this job. It will be much easier for you if you have dependable transportation. there is a collapsible canopy, table, and phones to haul around but a vehicle is not required, there are some people using a cart or wagon for that. To be eligible for this program people need to have a picture ID (not just state ID but an ID that has their picture name and birthdate on it) and some evidence they are receiving benefits from the state of Oregon, usually their EBT card or their OHP card. Customers are offered a free phone with unlimited service for a year, on the Sprint network. You will be a contractor working for yourself and will receive a 1099 at the end of the year. what's it pay? Good question... You are paid every Friday, there is a 2 week wait on that. so it's 2 to 3 weeks until your first check but after that every Friday assuming you worked the week 2 weeks prior. The first 100 phones you activate pay $10 each, after a hundred phones (2 to 3 weeks usually) it jumps to $15 an activation and stays there. potential for making really good money is high and of course depends on how motivated you are, it is not difficult to activate 2 or 3 phones an hour depending on your location. Randomly we will have upgrade phones to activate as well, they are not free but they are seriously discounted some are $30 some are $50 or more. On the upgrade phones... You keep all but $5 of what you sold the phone for in your pocket. This can make for some really decent days income-wise. i personally have had 4 and $500 days only working 6 hours. (Those results are not typical but I'm not the only one who has done that, is mostly a factor of work ethic and motivation). Training is unpaid but usually only lasts a day or two and not full days. you can start making money your second and third day depending on how quickly you pick up on the program. it's all very straightforward though. No used car sales tactics or high pressure sales, free phones give themselves away. Personal gripe: i have had soooo many people tell me they want to work and then don't show up, if this is you please keep looking, I'm only looking for people that really want to work. Important note, please... I only accept text messages for initial contact I'm already on phone a lot. i will get back to you as soon as i can sometimes that's a couple days out. If we talk and I'm interested in showing you this, one of my first questions is going to be when can you come and meet me (usually downtown Portland) and see what we're doing, I like answers like today, tomorrow morning or the next day. Happy Job Hunting! Note: if you replied to this ad before and weren't reached I had a phone fiasco the day after I posted it last time.
