Seeking Eighty - 80 Experienced Laborers/Catalyst Technicians - Must have CURRENT: TWIC, Basic Plus, Confined Space …NO EXCEPTIONS! Job starts 10/4/21 in Westlake, LA – Must provide own transportation, travel time will be paid. Must be physically fit, able to work long hours in confined space environment; position requires consistent travel. Starting rate of pay $20-23/per hour BOE, + per diem and lots of overtime! 4-6 Week Project, working 7/12’s, with many more projects to come; Must pass pre-employment Drug Test (Hair Follicle) & DISA Background Search. Catalyst Tech’s will perform critical reactor and tower maintenance services to refineries and petrochemical facilities nationwide. Assignments are closely supervised; Responsible for day-to-day activities performed in client facilities; Work in both inert and non-inert confined space entry atmosphere and conditions; Maintain a clean environment and report unusual findings in vessel such as fused catalyst or hot spots, etc., to Supervisor; Unload and load tubular vessels; Adhere to all Safety, Quality Assurance and Quality Control requirements • Load catalyst bed ; Keep all equipment clean; document/red tag damaged or broken equipment and tools for repair; Assist with the cleaning and correct loading of equipment on trailers; Support the Supervisors by keeping work areas clear and free of obstructions; Required to wear Full Face Mask or ½ mask (dependent upon conditions) at all times and gain experience on its usage and safety for future growth and advancement; Monitor the surroundings and dangers associated with entering confined spaces; Follow all Company Safety, Quality Control/Quality Assurance procedures/processes; Demonstrate organizational, problem solving, communication and leadership skills. Ability to consistently follow directions and perform tasks assigned by supervision. Maintain focus under time constraint. The position of Catalyst Tech is a very physically demanding job: must be able to bend, stoop, walk, climb, squat, reach, kneel, push/pull, stand, sit, and lift more than 50 pounds consistently. Again, Work Schedule is 7/12’s both day and night shifts available! Due to the nature of the work, these are contract positions.
