Free dog to right home. 3 year black lab/elkhound

My dog, Mumbo, will be 3 in november. He is half lab and half Norwegian elkhound. He is not fixed. He needs his shots. He is big, probably 80 lbs and wont eat the super cheap food, so his new family has to be able to afford to feed him. He likes to run and play with rocks. He will run off in the woods or chase cars if he isnt watched but he does always come home. My ex brought him into the home, but then did not treat him or train him right. I've worked with him and he can learn tricks and behavior but needs more attention than what I can give raising two toddlers, and running a business and house by myself. He barks when people come to the house but is generally mild tempered and has never bitten anyone. He has nipped when one of my kids took his food dish while he was eating, but that's the only time hes ever been aggressive. Hes just loud. He will whine to go out, and he will chase sticks and play. He doesnt really have experience with walks because I cant hold him and push the stroller with two kids at the same time so if this is something you plan to do you will have to leash train him. I am sad to see him go and want him to go to a new home that will show him lots of love. He likes to sleep next to the bed or in my sons room so he likes to be with his people. I cant really afford his care and I dont feel he is getting enough attention here. I just want to see him get the home he deserves. I will respond to email or texts and can send photos then.
