JOB OVERVIEW: As a Construction Crew Member, you will work alongside 3-4 other crew members performing various manual labor-related tasks around a construction site. Construction Crew Members are the backbone of our company and are highly valued in our company's culture. Whenever possible, we promote from within. We seek candidates that are comfortable with manual labor, willing to learn a new trade, open to occasional out-of-town work, always looking for the next task to be done, and most importantly, friendly and like to have fun at work. BENEFITS: • We start every day @ our headquarters in Dripping Springs and head to job sites from here in company vehicles (this means you get paid for drive time rather than being asked to use your own gas and unpaid time to travel to/from job sites). • Get paid for lunch! We do not require clock out for lunches or breaks. • PPE, weather-appropriate uniforms, waters, Gatorades, and snacks provided. • Opportunity for overtime. • Lodging is provided for all out-of-town work and cash is given for meals. RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES: ● Working outside in most elements ● Staging materials (PVC pipe & fittings, water pumps, etc) for the project ● Hand-digging & back-filling trenches with shovels, pickaxes, etc. ● Plumbing PVC pipes ranging from 1"-12" ● Communication amongst other crew members & leader ● Willing to seek guidance from the Crew leader when unsure ● Reliable & timely ● Maintaining awareness on a construction site QUALIFICATIONS: ● Able to work outside year-round ● Able to lift up to 75 pounds ● Valid driver’s license and clean driving record ● Ability to drive with a trailer ● Bi-Lingual - Spanish & English (Preferable, but not necessary)
