Black stray cat?

Does anyone know if this cat has an owner? He has been seen in the area of S Pacífic between Socorro and the Plaza. A few weeks ago he had an injured leg which seems to have healed. I am trying to determine if he has a home. I would have taken him to the vet, but he seems afraid of people. Thank you.
