compensation: $14-$16 per hour employment type: full-time Pay Range: $14.00 -$16.00 / hr depending on experience. Overtime permitted. expect 40-50 hrs a week RESPONSIBILITIES -Safely, responsibly, and professionally operates the commercial motor vehicle (junk truck) and monitors their functionality -Completes all haul-a-way / Junk removal related paperwork and responsible for making sure paperwork and revenues collected are properly dropped in safe at the end of the work day -Organizing and securing truck at the end of each job and ensures truck and equipment is maintained in a clean, safe and professional manner -Conduct pre / post trip truck inspections and “haul-a-way / junk removal equipment inventory -Safely remove any unwanted items from the customers home or business by utilizing all of the proper hauling equipment and techniques and following the necessary prescribed policies -Must be in a clean, approved Pink Junk Removal uniform at all times without exception -Maintain a positive image of the company by ensuring proper hygiene REQUIREMENTS -2 years of junk removal experience preferred -A high-school diploma or equivalent preferred -21 years or older with a clean driving record is required -One year previous driving experience with Commercial Motor Vehicle preferred -Excellent customer service skills -Must be able to work weekends -Is a team player and must be able to listen and communicate in an effective, helpful and friendly manner with co-workers, customers and management -Ability to direct the work of others when necessary -Have strength and agility to carry and load items into truck as well as a good sense of balance Physical Demands: the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, talk, sit, hear, use hands and fingers, handle, feel and/or life with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to lift 100 pounds or more.
