Hi, I’m a vocalist/guitarist in my early 20s interested in playing with other folks and especially with other female musicians (but all genders ok). I thought i might just kinda put some feelers out for people with similar musical interests who might want to play covers together and then when we feel more comfortable with each other share original songs. Most of what I listen to is old folk/blues stuff but also some more contemporary stuff including but not limited to : Neil young, Fred Neil, Tim Buckley, Tim Hardin, Robert Johnson, Townes Van Zandt (currently on a big TVZ kick), Jackson C Frank, Leonard Cohen, Bonnie prince Billie, magnolia electric company, sparkle horse, Joni Mitchell, sibylle baier, the innocence mission, sun kil moon, Adrienne lenker, Julien Baker and others. If anyone is interested in playing more stripped down/ simple instrumental music with intimate vocals and lyrics at the forefront send me a message and we can talk.
