Meet Sgt. Richard Ketchum, Supervisor of CPD's Domestic Violence Unit and learn self defense from Black Belt Sensei Celeste Aleman. Judah Christian Community Church will present "Home isn't safe for everyone." This is a free community event to bring attention to the abuse of women, children and even men behind closed doors. Join us on Saturday, October 2, 2021, at 4:00 p.m., 972 Beechwood Road, Columbus, Ohio 43227. The speaker is Sgt. Richard Ketcham, Supervisor of CPD's Domestic Violence Unit, and Black Belt Hall of Fame Winner, Sensei Celeste Aleman, member of the (TSKC) Traylon Smith Karate Club will demonstrate techniques on how to defend yourself. RSVP seating is limited. Social distancing will be in place and face mask are required for this event. Community conversation with Sgt. Richard Ketchum, CPD's Domestic Violence Unit, Self-Defense techniques by Black Belt Sensei Celeste Aleman. The primary purpose of Women Under Construction is to inspire, heal, strengthen and provide the tools to renew the way a woman thinks and sees herself.  Donations are appreciated and 10% of  all the money   will go toward scholarships for trafficking victims.
