LANDSCAPING CREW MEMBER You will apply horticultural skills, energy and passions to our lovely client properties. As a Crew Member you work side-by-side with a small team to do extraordinary things that include - General garden maintenance (hand pruning, transplanting, weeding, mulching, adding bed seasonal color) - Planting planters and garden beds with seasonal color - Provide planting support for new installations. - Demo and building new gardens. There is training available for everyone, in all areas. The ideal candidates will have these minimum qualifications: Professional experience performing garden and landscape tasks. Have some knowledge base and understanding of plant identification and proper plant care. Be in proper physical condition and have stamina to perform often labor intensive and daily outdoor, at times lifting up to 40 pounds. Be a positive thinking and self-motivated team player and leader. Have a passion for working with plants and for performing great work! An excellent driving record. *Please note Gardens by the Yard is a smoke free and drug free work place. All interested candidates must have a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle to get to and from work.
