Description

Greetings. Underemployed and bored multi-instrumentalist (violin, viola, cello and some winds) seeking fun and interesting acoustic collabs from afar or in person. Working with a fine guitarist would be nice, although I'm open to working with other bright and skilled musicians, any age...skills are what count. I'm agile, read easily but enjoy improvising, generally work on instrumentals but open to accompanying vocals, many melodic musical styles, folk, rock, Spanish, Irish, jazz, swing, country, classical, movie melodies, Gypsy, and whatever else might sound good. Here's an Irish melody I recorded recently, I'm improvising the fiddle and flute: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l2P2yabAK64 Quick improv to a theme from The Godfather: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nAXqszfwLNQ Gypsy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q-haVe-rdjc Swing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EDSuXR3_E2U https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OQTCCSTlWUU Bach: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ha-35jMrSO0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lj6-9SLnzt8 Works by Erik Satie: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zej_ZhXXN-U https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JVJy-GOm_H8 Circus, rock and Spanish, three solos: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lfVwmskZ2lQ Jazzy folk: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O6Z_oa9IQgI Many more samples and styles on my unpopular Youtube portfolio; https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCjB-TDoEXHI59cWk-VHcENQ/videos If you think we might sound good together, send me some links to samples and a few details. Be well and have a musical day. Dave
