Take a step back in time and learn what life was like in the early days of Ardsley. Description Follow experienced guides as they lead you on a walking tour along Ashford Avenue and then Saw Mill River Road, stopping along the way at major landmarks in the history of the village. Tour participants will share binders that contain photographs of these landmarks as they appeared many years ago. You will be able to see how the following landmarks have changed over the years: Fire Department, Village Hall, Library, Addyman Square, Post Office. Other landmarks no longer exist, but you will be able to see where they used to be located: Ardsley Lyceum, Blacksmith Shop, Livery, Pickle Factories, Ardsley Train Station. There is parking available in the village parking lot and the library parking lot. Please be mindful to not park in an authorized personnel only spot. Please bring either a digital or hard-copy of your tickets, so they can be scanned. If you did not fill out the Proof of Vaccination form, please bring a copy of your vaccination card. If you did not fill out the health screening form, you will be asked to fill it out before the tour begins. Vaccinated individuals: Required to maintain 6 feet of social distancing and are recommended to wear masks. Any individual showing any symptoms of a COVID-19 infection linked here will be asked to leave the premises. Plastic binders will be given to individuals, and they will be sanitized in between uses. Vaccination Requirements Proof of a COVID-19 Vaccination is required for individuals aged 12 and up who have been vaccinated. Full Vaccination is 14 days after your second dose of the Pfizer-BioNtech or Moderna COVID-19 vaccine or 14 days after your single dose of the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine. Proof of Vaccination If you have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19, we ask that you fill out the COVID-19 Vaccination Form to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 and the Delta Variant. Please fill out one form per individual. Click here to fill out the form. COVID-19 Testing Requirements As of August 1, 2021, the Ardsley Historical Society has no requirement for any individual to receive a Molecular PCR or Rapid Antigen COVID-19 test before arrival. Please note, this is subject to change. Health Screening Seventy-two hours before the tour's start time, another email will be sent with a health screening form. Required Forms All individuals attending the Village of Ardsley's 125th Anniversary Walking Tours will be required to fill out two forms. Form #1: Proof of Vaccination Form #2: Health Screening - Must be completed within 72 hours before the tour's start time and will be emailed to attendees. Printed forms are also available.
