A free career spotlight forum for high schoolers in our Southeast Los Angeles communities. Raines Feldman LLP and The Bicycle Hotel & Casino are proud to partner with Southeast Community Foundation (SCF) to host the 2021 SELA CareerCom, a career spotlight forum for high schoolers in our Southeast Los Angeles communities. The event, which will be hosted on Wednesday, October 27, 2021, at The Bicycle Hotel & Casino in Bell Gardens, will expose students to new and exciting career paths and will demystify the barriers to career entry that are often an obstacle for kids coming from underserved and underrepresented communities. RSVP/Registration is mandatory by October 22! In today's world, it's who you know that gets your foot in the door for that elusive career choice that eludes most young adults entering the workforce. Especially when it comes to the entertainment, tech and communication industries. The forum will consist of six (6) keynote speakers, including leaders in the entertainment, tech, and communications industries, and will give attendees practical, real world advice on how to pick and achieve a career that speaks to their highest aspirations. Due to the current circumstances, in-person attendees will need to be fully vaccinated. Proof of vaccination is required to enter event or proof of a negative test result within 7 days of the event taking place. We appreciate your cooperation.
