The Akanksha Young Professionals Group invites you to an evening in support of education for underprivileged children in India The Akanksha Young Professionals Group invites you to an evening in support of education for underprivileged children in India on Friday, September 24th, 2021 from 6:15pm-8:15pm Please join us for our first annual Back to School Charity Event in Chicago! We are also pleased to announce that we will be forming an Akanksha Education Fund Young Professionals Board in Chicago and would love to have you involved! Join us at the charity event to learn about Akanksha's mission while having a great time with family and friends. If you are interested in the young professional board speak to the hosts to understand how you can get involved. We look forward to working together to continue making an impact on the lives of children across India through education. Ticket Price: $30 - Your ticket includes one drink and appetizers. A majority of ticket sale proceeds will go to the Akanksha Education Fund and help support the work on the ground in India. We hope to see you there! The Akanksha Foundation was started in 1991 with a simple idea - To deliver a high-quality education to each child, no matter his or her background. Having initially started with a focus on setting up after-school centers/programs, Akanksha grew its focus in 2007 to working with the government to create a scalable school model.
